On July 1st, 2019, we filled a barrel with something special—crafted from heirloom grains sourced from Marsh Hen Mill, including Sea Island blue corn, with rye as the flavoring grain and a touch of barley to round it out. For five years, that spirit rested quietly in the barrel, drawing flavor from the oak and deepening in character with every passing season. The blue corn imparts a rich, slightly sweet body, while the rye adds a gentle spice and complexity. Barley lends balance and smoothness, making this a well-rounded bourbon from start to finish. Bottled at 109 proof, it offers a bold expression without overpowering the palate, maintaining both strength and elegance.
