Cryptid Artwalk Photo Booth!

10/09/2026

🎬❤️ Here’s a clip from the end of the video where we get to see a little more of Marie Shelton’s personality! I was hoping this little bit of editing would pay off, and judging by the laughter in the room, I think it did! 😂

📍 West Virginia Housing Conference

10/09/2026

🏡❤️ What an incredible experience at the West Virginia Housing Conference!

I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people, hear inspiring stories, and be part of an event focused on making a real difference in the lives of West Virginians.

One of the highlights for me was having the honor of telling Marie Shelton’s story and highlighting her journey to homeownership through video. Watching her story unfold in front of everyone was a special moment, and I’m grateful to have played a part in sharing it.

I was also honored to be a speaker at the conference, presenting on Storytelling for Nonprofits. 🎤

On a personal note, that was a pretty big moment for me as well. Public speaking has always been something I’ve had to push myself through, so standing in front of a room full of people and sharing something I’m passionate about was a personal accomplishment. Sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone, and I’m glad I did.

A special thank you to Craig Petry and CommunityWorks in West Virginia for the opportunity, the trust, and for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful event.

From the conversations and connections to the stories shared and the people working to make homeownership possible, the entire experience was a reminder of why storytelling matters and how powerful it can be.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the work that we forget to appreciate the moments that remind us why we do it. This was definitely one of those moments. ❤️

Lesly designed a poster to go outside of the Capitol Horror Haunted House and did such a good job! We heard so many compliments on it. Always love working with Echo Lit on prints as well.
