Happy Monday y'all! Life is so busy lately, but in the best way ☺️

Quick availability update: still open for November and December weddings in Charleston. Wide open for January through May of 2026! Would LOVE to work with you and I'm happy to work with any budget 🫶 All you have to is message me for a chat!!

Also, let's chat my favorite parts of wedding days!!
1️⃣ I love seeing the empty venue with no decorations because it feels like a clean slate!
2️⃣ A plain cake that I get to decorate gives me great joy! Then adding the little details that either the couple provides or the florist, just so fun!
3️⃣ Decorating!!! The final set up always makes me feel so accomplished and even though I'm not officially a wedding decorator it is absolutely one of my favorite parts!
4️⃣ Golden Hour! There is nothing more beautiful then the sunset on a wedding day - I'm willing to fight about this fact haha. Plus watching the couple get gorgeous photos done just tugs at my heart strings!

I'm so excited to re-align my color pallet, my fonts, and my overall vibe to meet me where I am now! You'll notice the names of my instagram and facebook changing to reflect the new name.

Over the next couple months I will be working on my website, my product offerings, and finding a rhythm with sharing at least once a week with you all! In the meantime my website is still active in it's original Chelsea Evelyn Weddings & Events glory and my packages and pricing will remain what is offered there.

BUT! If you are a couple planning your wedding in the lowcountry for anytime between now and mid-June of next year I would love to help you no matter what your needs and budget! So PLEASE reach out to me if you need help executing (or planning) your perfect big day 🥰

Good morning! Let's revisit my availability from now through June of next year :) I would love to help you plan and execute your perfect day! I'm a one-woman show who can do everything from timeline management, vendor coordination, day-of coordination, and budget assistance to ceremony set-up, reception set-up, decor set-up, and all take down. Plus all the little things in between!

My family and I will most likely be PCSing (permanent change of statement, aka moving on military orders) next summer and as of right now my books are TOTALLY open for weddings in the Charleston area between now and then!

FREE venue?!?! Amazing!! Vote for a fellow military couple to win, voting ends tonight!!

Carson + Makenzi

Carson and I met last February through a dating app. I almost did not even go on our first date because I was so nervous. He picked me up and we went to Frankies Fun Park. He just had a foot surgery a few weeks before but he really wanted to take me on a first date. He was able to walk but was in a cushioned shoe. He still beat me by 3 points (and reminds me almost everyday of his victory) and won me a stuffed wolf. I also tripped up the steps and tried to play it off, but he noticed! Afterwards we got frozen yogurt and he took me back. When he dropped me off he asked if I wanted to go and do something else, but it was already 8:30pm on a work night. So instead I asked what he was doing on Saturday (it was a Thursday). We have been basically inseperable since. I remember looking at him on our second date and just thinking “I could hangout with you forever.” Carson is in the Coast Guard so he was out on a deployment for the fall and he is about to go back underway again soon. I am trying to involve him in the wedding planning as much as I can before he leaves! We have been looking for a venue that has the outdoor feel, which 108 W Main definitely has. We both are from other states and we are looking for a venue that has it all and we think that this would be the PERFECT venue!

Hello Social Media World!! We are now halfway through January and I am pleased to FINALLY stop in to say hi :)

2024 was incredible! I worked 4 total weddings, which might not sound like a lot to most wedding and event planners out there, but as a work from home and homeschooling mom of 3 it was a record year! The most weddings I have worked since our first military move in 2018 - right before I become a mother for the first time. They were 4 unique and amazing weddings; 3 took place at venues in the Charleston, SC area and the 4th was back at my favorite little midcoast Maine venue. A collage of the weddings is in this post!!

I thought I would take a moment to thank all the awesome vendors and venues I worked with in 2024 - while also allowing YOU to potentially find the perfect one for you!
