More photos of the beautiful wedding from yesterday. No pics of the food because I was so busy, but the decor was so pretty and they really went all out to make sure their guests enjoyed every minute. From the inflatable mechanical bull, the DJ was great, amazing bar tenders, a Photo Booth and a bunch of little extra that just made it so memorable for everyone I’m sure. And of course the location and lodge was perfect. I was honored to be a small part of it.

It was Jon’s first time helping with a party that big (200 guests) and he stayed pretty busy. At one point he came in and said “they’re eating all the food!” lol I said “that’s what it’s there for.” I think he was afraid it was going to run out, but they didn’t. Now he understands just how hard and stressful it can be.

Last night I had the absolute pleasure of catering a wedding for an amazing couple and their families. Most came from New York. I went into it so nervous. I mean here’s this WV girl cooking Italian food for New Yorkers! I worried I couldn’t live up to their standards. Also, if you follow me personally, you know I’ve been struggling with whether or not I’m really cut out for all of this. Well, last night was hard. Feeding 200 people isn’t easy, but I did it. Pete, the father of the bride was so great and gave me this little review before I left.

He didn’t know how I’ve been struggling and questioning myself. He didn’t know that my som recently moved away and Jon took a job that keeps him away all week and how hard it been on my mental health. He didn’t know I have been considering closing my company. His words meant the world to me and renewed my confidence in myself and my work.

I was worn out last night, literally everything on my body hurt, but somehow I still felt amazing. Thank you Pete for your kind words and making me feel better than I have in a long time. It’s amazing how someone you have never met can change everything with a few sentences.

I’ll be posting pics from the wedding later, but I wanted Pete to have his own place on my social media accounts. Thanks again ❤️

Im considering family dinners for next week, but it would probably be Wednesday and Thursday only. I have a wedding for 200 tomorrow and I usually need recovery time, lol. Im old and everything will hurt for at least two days, lol.

Next weeks family meal menu is ready. Spots are limited, so don’t wait to place your order. Also don’t forget you can now order cookies or pepperoni rolls from Bretta Brewer Hyre and they will be delivered to me so you can pick up everything in one place.

I will try to continue to do family meals, but I’m sure with catering and holidays coming there may be weeks that I can’t or maybe some weeks it may just be two days.

I have teamed up Bretta so that you can order your cookies and pepperoni rolls and she will deliver them to me. I will have them with your family meal orders.

Her cookies and pepperoni rolls are AMAZING! Roman is a picky eater, like many of us have (I’m a picky eater too) and he loves them! There are so many cookie options you really can’t go wrong!

So starting next week, you can place your order with her, pay her and she will have them here for you to pick up. How awesome is that? Just two small business mama’s trying to make things a little easier for you and your family…❤️
