I haven’t forgotten about having Jr Chef classes this summer. May is EXTREMELY busy and June has started the same. I have made some calls and waiting to talk to another (hopefully tomorrow) then I should have an idea on dates. I’m hoping to have the first one the last full week in June (the 22nd - 26th). So stay tuned!!!
***COOKING CAMP INFO BELOW***
The response to my post about a summer cooking camp was amazing. I am posting now with some questions at the bottom. If you are interested in cooking camp, try to answer them. It will help me know about how to schedule and prepare camp. There are a couple different ways to go about it and I’ll do my best to have more than one so that anyone interested can attend. Thanks for the feedback and I’m super excited.
1. Do you prefer a day or evening class?
2. Many will be on vacay this summer. What month(s) and week(s) would be best for you?
3. I would like to have a 4 hour class, obviously there will be breaks and fun things and they will also be fed. If it were a daytime class, would starting in the AM like 9, or a noon start be best?
4. If you work during the day, would a before and after care help your child be able to attend?
5. If it were an evening class, is 4 pm a good start time?
6. Any question for me?
I think Ive covered all the bases, lol. When I’m going into planning mode, the more info I have up front, the better 😁 I may go ahead and send this to many of you that messaged me.
You can probably tell from the little graphic I posted, this will be more than just cooking. It will be creating confidence, not just in the kitchen but in themselves! I have so many ideas for Jr Chef Classes, so if it goes well, I will definitely have some other kids classes coming!
