🍀4-H Feature: Hudson🍀

Hudson worked hard all summer with her market hog, Kermit, and their hard work paid off at The Great Geauga County Fair! Hudson won her Showmanship class in her age division and also earned a ribbon in her market class with Kermit.

This was Hudson’s first year raising a pen of market chickens for the fair. She learned a lot along the way and is already excited to raise chickens again next year!

Hudson also brought her pet rabbit to the fair, earning a blue ribbon in the rabbit’s breed class.

The 2026 fair was a successful one for Hudson, filled with hard work, new experiences, and plenty to be proud of. Congratulations, Hudson!

One of her favorite parts of her lamb projects was raising and showing two lambs from her cousin. And her goat? Well, Teagan says you probably heard him across the fairgrounds before you saw him, he was known to be a little dramatic! 😂🐐

Through her projects, Teagan continues to learn more about feed and nutrition for all of her animals, especially her pigs. Looking ahead, one of her goals is to continue raising turkeys.

After 10 years of 4-H, Teagan continues to learn, take on new challenges and make plenty of memories along the way. 🍀❤️
