21 years ago this month, I picked up my daddys stratocaster for the first time. That started a love affair with the strings that has endured. During that stretch ive had several guitars of my own, but always run of the mill cheaper guitars. After daddy passed away, i became the owner of his strat, and it took me a bit to feel comfortable with it in my hands. It has carried me through some rough stretches in the past 15 years, and it will always be there when I need it, it cant be "replaced". However, ive dreamed of owning a custom shop telecaster since the day I started playing. This weekend. I traded half of my gear, all my DJ money that ive saved and bought my dream guitar!
