The Dead of Winter Fest The Dead of Winter Fest is a multi-city heavy metal festival founded in Arizona that benefits local y

The Dead of Winter Fest is an annual heavy metal festival which started January 2015 in Mesa, AZ that celebrates local bands from the region. A portion of proceeds from each festival go to Keep Children Rockin, a charity that benefits local children by providing monetary and equipment donations to underfunded school music programs. Over 15 schools have been impacted with over $10,000 worth of equipment and repairs since we started and we are not stopping anytime soon!

🎸 We are thrilled to share that Paul Sokol, co-founder of Keep Children Rocking charity, reached out to us a couple of weeks ago with an incredible offer. Every year, they host a big heavy metal concert and donate the proceeds to schools. This year, they gifted our school with two classical guitars! Our students are going to have a ton of fun with these new instruments. Thank you, Paul, for helping keep our school rocking! 🎶
