One of the biggest surprises for couples is how much their guest count changes throughout the planning process.

The first list is usually optimistic.

Then family members start adding names.

Friends move away.

Some people can’t travel.

Some RSVP “yes” that you never expected.

I’ve seen guest counts go up, down, and everywhere in between.

That’s why I always recommend building a little flexibility into your wedding plans and not stressing over exact numbers too early in the process.

Focus on the experience first. The final guest count will work itself out as your wedding day gets closer.

Wedding Planner Secret Part 1💍

This might be controversial, but after more than 10 years in the wedding industry, I’ve seen it happen over and over again.

Couples find a venue they absolutely love…

Then spend the next several months touring 20 more venues, comparing packages, reading online reviews, asking strangers in wedding groups what they think, and trying to find the “perfect” option.

By the end, they’re overwhelmed and can’t remember which venue included what.

Here’s my advice:

Narrow your search to a few venues that fit your style, budget, and priorities. Tour them. Pay attention to how you feel when you’re there. Pay attention to the people you’re working with.

Then trust yourself.

No venue is going to be perfect. No wedding is going to be perfect.

The best venue is the one that feels right for YOU, your fiancé, and the experience you want to create.

You don’t need approval from strangers on the internet to choose the place where you’ll say “I do.” ❤️

When opening Bella Rose, I became a certified wedding planner because I loved helping couples bring their vision to life and creating celebrations that felt personal and meaningful. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to help plan hundreds of weddings and events and have a team that I’ve trained to do the same, which has given me a unique perspective on what couples truly need throughout the planning process.

More recently, I completed my Diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking & Restaurant Management from Arizona Culinary Institute, allowing us to take our passion for hospitality even further through our in-house catering program.

Today, when couples choose Bella Rose, they’re not just booking a venue. They’re working with a team that understands wedding planning, catering, guest experience, timelines, logistics, and all of the little details that come together to create an unforgettable celebration.
