Community is a beautiful thing when the right hearts are running the show! ❤️ A few months ago I get a call from Sandy Martinez saying “I have an idea of a show I want to put together and I want you to partner with me on it.” All women, Tech Fashion show, Panel of the leading Latina tech business owners in the Valley and you run the show! Immediately I said HELL yes! ✨☺️💎💐

Helping these women with “Latina’s Shaping the Future” and coming together the way that we did on a Tuesday is something to be studied 😉✨🔥💡📖

S/O to everyone who had a hand in this BEAUTIFUL VISION from Sandy Martinez with Women of Web3 | Latina’s in Arizona | Tech Women AZ | Coding In Color | EcoRobitik | Engineering Women | Life Booth | NexGen Voice | Unscripted Media | Alexys Brandon Photography | Franchella Ulises Stylist & Model | Caroline with Heritage Headquarters and all the models, vendors family and friends and of course Zen Events and our Bartender Eve!!

Nothing is possible without community and we raised the bar on this one! ✨

I’d love to invite you to Latinas Shaping the Future, a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration honoring Latina excellence in technology, leadership, and innovation.

The event is October 13 at 5:30 PM at Heritage Headquarters. I’ll be moderating the panel, and Engineering Women will have a booth. Featured Latina-led technology organizations include Ecorobotik Learning Center, Latinas in Tech Arizona, Tech Women Arizona, Women of Web3, and IN Coding to Color.

We’ll also be giving away a drone brand shoot. There’s space for vendor opportunities too if you or your company are interested!

I hope you can join us!

The future of technology is not just something women should participate in. It is something we should help build, lead and own.

On September 30, I’ll be speaking at WiTCH 2026 about AI, drones and engineering career pathways for women.

During this interactive session, we will explore how these technologies work together, where the careers are and how one real-world drone mission can create opportunities for pilots, AI engineers, data analysts, systems engineers, project managers and founders.

We’ll also put AI to work during a live drone mission-planning challenge.

You do not have to know everything to enter emerging technology. Start with one skill, one project and one problem to solve.

Learn it. Build it. Fly it. Lead it.

I’m honored to be featured by Bold Journey Magazine and to share more of the story behind my journey as an entrepreneur, FAA Part 107 drone pilot, AI engineer, artist, and the founder of Engineering Women.

Building something meaningful has never been about taking the easy path. It’s been about staying committed to a vision, learning through every challenge, and creating opportunities for others along the way.

Engineering Women was founded on the belief that innovation should be accessible, diverse, and driven by purpose. From AI and autonomous systems to commercial drone technology and workforce development, we’re helping prepare the next generation for careers that are shaping the future.

Thank you to Bold Journey for the feature. I hope it encourages someone else to keep building, keep learning, and keep believing in what they’re creating.

We were lucky to catch up with Jamme Alexander recently and have shared our conversation below. Jamme, we are so appreciative of you taking the time to open up about the extremely important, albeit personal, topic of mental health. Can you talk to us about your journey and how

From hospitality to technology, from serving guests to capturing stories from the sky, every chapter has taught me something valuable.

I’ve never believed in staying in one box. I’ve always believed in creating opportunities, building skills, and continuing to move forward, even when the path wasn’t clear.

The work may look different from season to season, but the mission remains the same: keep building, keep growing, and never stop becoming who you’re called to be.
