Photos by Sally Schroeder are a great way to get into the spirit of summer!! Sally takes photos from around her ranch near Irene, South Dakota, and she currently has at Eastwards mounted photos that really capture a mid-west summer. Dakota Winds Photography has many images on display (and for sale) at Eastwards that fully capture the spirit of a Central South Dakota summer! Kendra Perry Koski has brought in photos mounted and/or matted, and on blank cards, to show a wide breadth of mid-west life. Stop by to see these incredible shots in person, with their frames of recovered wood and printed on metal. They must be experienced.

In addition to dozens of artists from Central South Dakota, our curator shows his own art - photos from sites around the U.S., Canada and the world. Adrian Laney is a trained, professional photographer who now uses his talents to shoot images he sees from the corner of his eye. His 'Scenes From The Sidewalk' series contains a wide variety of images, all framed and on display at Eastwards. Stop by to see (and shop) Adrian's pictures from all over!!

Eastwards Art Gallery will be OPEN on Wednesday (May 27th) and Thursday (May 28th) from 11a - 4p!
We have great art by local artists from around Central South Dakota, and around the country. We have paintings, photos, jewelry, quilts, woodworking, and glass. We also have art in every price range, for every situation and setting. Stop by and see what inspires you!!
The Gallery will be open this week on Weds & Thurs (May 27th & 28th) from 11a - 4p
Eastwards will then close for one week, re-opening on Monday, June 8th

We hope you can spend this Memorial Day remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and their families and loved ones!! The loss is felt by all of us!
Eastwards Art Gallery will be open today, regular hours, if you want to spend some of this day looking at art and drawing inspiration from the beauty created by our artists.

Oacoma artist Mike Sherman is one of our original featured artists here at Eastwards Art Gallery, and his small, colorful paintings are priced well and they bring small landscapes and scenes into our homes and offices. Mike has brought in dozens of his pieces and he has more so if there is a certain color or image you want to have for yourself. Mike also has tiny to large canvases, so if you are looking for a particular size, let us know!

The Gallery has closed for Winter Break.
If you do need something, please contact Adrian a.s.a.p. Otherwise, we will see you in March when we want to show off new art from our current artists - and hopefully interesting art from new artists!! (Hint: Laura?)
As for photos, expect to see LOTS and LOTS when we return... but enjoy this koala since we're going to be 'shooting' Quokkas this time!!
