🚧 The Hive Weekly Construction Update.

Here’s what’s been buzzing on site this week:

🐝 Main Entrance: The interior side of the vestibule block is now complete and bearing steel—setting the stage for the old round entrance to be demo’d next week

🐝 Elevator Shaft: The first floor slab is poured, paving the way to build the shaft up to the second floor and remove the mezzanine

🐝 Electrical, HVAC & Plumbing: Underground and overhead work continues across the building, with plumbing now underway near the speakeasy restrooms

🐝 Framing: Steady progress continues in the restaurant, bar, and kitchen areas

🐝 Drywall: Installation has begun in the restaurant and bar. In the Hungry Bee and Wood Shed, finishing work (mudding and taping) is moving right along

🐝 Site Utilities: Water and storm lines are being installed at the front of the building to allow for grading, sidewalks, and stamped entrances

🐝 Event Center Patio: Steps and ramps are being formed and scheduled to be poured today or early next week

Our goal is to create a recipe for living, connecting and community. We're proud of the team at Hungry Bee for doing exactly that for a catering client and her daughter at a special bridal shower celebration.

"Fantastic job! Everything was perfect. Couldn’t be more pleased. Compliments galore.
Food was delicious, beautiful display and Wow the mimosa bar and beverage center was a big hit.

Erin is a true wonder. She took care of every need effortlessly. We all appreciate the way she took care of everything and made our day so enjoyable. Don’t know how she did it…Wonder Women! And what a great personality! A true gem for Hungry Bee.

🚧 Weekly Construction Update. Things are taking shape—inside and out—and we’re getting closer and closer!

Here’s a look at what’s been happening on site this week:

🐝 Main Entrance: The vestibule block is going vertical! Steel embeds are being prepped, which means the old steel and round entryway will finally be demo’d soon.

🐝 Elevator Shaft: Block work is now waterproofed and up to ground level. Next week, it goes up to the second floor and roof

🐝 Framing: Continues to move forward in the restaurant, bar, and kitchen areas.

🐝 Drywall: Nearly complete in the Hungry Bee and Wood Shed—mud and taping are up next!

🐝 Electrical & HVAC: Underground and overhead work remains in progress throughout the building.

🐝 Site Utilities: Water and storm line installation is underway at the front of the building. This clears the way for grading, sidewalks, and stamped entrances.

🐝 Interior Concrete: Small pours continue, including kitchen and event center ramps.

We’re launching a community-powered kids’ menu at Timberfire — and we want YOUR little ones to help us build it!

Introducing the Timberfire Lil’ Chef Contest 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 — where kids get to dream up their favorite dishes, mocktails or even menu-themed games and coloring activities!

🧒 WHAT TO SUBMIT:
✔️ A kid-friendly dish or dessert
✔️ A fun mocktail (no alcohol, all creativity!)
✔️ A game or coloring idea to be featured on the new kids’ menu

📲 HOW TO ENTER:
1️⃣ Help your child come up with a creative idea

🐝 Drywall: Installation has kicked off in the Hungry Bee area

🐝 Electrical & HVAC: Underground and overhead work is advancing across the site

🐝 Honey Hill (event center): Concrete floors are officially DONE—every interior slab is now poured

🐝 Electrical & HVAC: Underground and overhead work continues across all areas

🐝Framing: Making great progress throughout the restaurant, bar, and kitchen space

🐝 Drywall: Installation begins Tuesday!

🐝 Site Work: Demo continues outside with old sidewalks and trees coming down

🐝 Fire & Water Lines: Successfully brought into the building and passed inspection—now moving toward final utility connections
