This was our 3rd straight Fourth of July Holiday at this amazing cabin on the Prairie River. Our whole family had a wonderfully relaxing weekend playing in the river, sitting on the hugh deck, and sitting around a camp fire in the evenings. John was very accommodating and willing to change our dates for us. We will be back!

5 stars: We were all very pleased with the property. The house was very accommodating for 5 adults! We enjoyed the deck and the porch for relaxing, the dining room table for eating and playing games, the kitchen for meal prep and coffee and the bedrooms for comfy sleeping. The home was clean and well stocked right down to shampoo and soap. We would highly recommend this property!

The home was clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck (no bugs) and hiking the trails around the property. John was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. It is definitely a place we would like to return to for future family reunions.
Located in the heart of Centreville, this vacation home is within 9 mi (15 km) of Sauganash Golf Club, Scidmore Park and Petting Zoo, and Hidden Marsh Sanctuary. Palmer Lake is 11.6 mi (18.6 km) away.

Secluded Riverside Log Home in Southern Michigan

Quiet, relaxing cabin with wildlife all around. We felt safe. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the water, sitting on the front porch, and around the fire pit. Abundance of birds, rabbits, deer, and many other animals for us to watch. All this, yet near restaurants, stores, and community activities. The property was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities that met our needs.

Another 5 star review. There was 6 of us and we were celebrating Mikes 60th Birthday. We decided to get out of Ohio and do something different. so we found this place. We loved it it was beautiful and had a blast and will definitely coming back soon . The owners were very nice, I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. I give it 5 stars plus can't wait to go back. Mike & Donna

The cabin and river view far exceeded our expectations. Very spacious accommodations, lovely outdoor spaces, and a fire pit with wood already all set up was waiting for us when we arrived. The cabin decor is fun and cozy and the sounds of the water flowing down the river outside add to the peaceful ambiance. Would definitely visit and stay again if I’m in the area!
This dog has visited us twice now. Runs away. Centreville area. If you know owner let us know. Animal control is full and will not respond.

Owners John and Pat Pierucki were married on their farm in 1984. From then until 1999 they operated a horse stables on the property, know as Spring Brook Stables. They hosted many 4-H and family events. In 1999 their daughter got married by the gazebo. The following year they started leasing the property for weddings. Pat has always been in love with the outdoors-it was instilled in her from her grandfather and other family members. She is an avid gardener and a master of design. She truly loves to improve the grounds and gardens each year and is continually searching for new plant species to enhance everyone’s experience here at Riverside.
John grew up in the country, enjoys every aspect of the outdoors and is a master gardener; however, Pat is the garden master. Together they work long and hard to provide this spectacular landscape at Riverside.
