I love family photo sessions, but I especially love when families come back to me year after year. It's so fun to see the children grow, and to reconnect with the parents. This spunky little one continues to make me laugh and smile.

Final Peek at Parker's Senior Session! I've known Parker since they were maybe 10 years old, so I've had the privilege of watching Parker as they have grown into a young adult. Parker today identifies as non-binary, and remains one of the very coolest individuals. When Parker's Mom contacted me, I immediately thought of the rainbow stairs at Mosaic. I was so excited to finally get to utilize this space. From there, we managed to touch upon Parker's interests for reading and film with photos at Barnes & Noble and the Angelika theater (see earlier posts for those images).

But there was one more stop I wanted to make... the gritty rooftop of the parking garage, where we'd get some different textures and big open sky. What we weren't expecting was a loud speaker ala the voice of God, telling us to vacate because we were in a restricted area😂. Just as I got my light dialed in, the voice came over the speaker. A good photographer keeps shooting, and this is the shot we got.

Well done, Parker and Mom! Thanks for having me out - it was a blast!
