After a lot of prayer, love, and planning, my people are MARRIED & it was a BLAST.
If you’ve followed me for any period of time, you’ve seen Sara and Alex on my feed A LOTTTT – longtime friends; lifelong family. Sara and I first met in 2017 when we joined a bible study group for singles twenty-somethings and she’s been stuck with me ever since lol. Five years later, we’re both married (she was in my wedding & I had the honor of getting to photograph hers) to the greatest guys.
This day was full of laughs & tears, representing this INCREDIBLE couple and the loved ones who came together to make their day PERFECT 🤩 Honestly, I’m obsessed with these two and their love for each other.
They, quite literally, are the embodiment of the term “Couple Goals”. Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Cox Y’ALL!!!

It was a "Lu" kind of weekend! Not only did I photograph a Lu on Saturday, but I photographed another Lu on Sunday! But this is the cherry on top... Lu married Alex with the last name LU! So cool! 🙂 Anyways, I had the best time celebrating these two yesterday... Even if it was 90+ degrees!!! They made it easy, playful, and fun! Did you know there is a “proper” way to pin a boutonniere? There is!! It should be on the left lapel (looking at them, your right side) should be lower than the neck of the tie but but higher than the pocket. That’s the sweet spot. You should always use two pins and pin from behind. One from top and one from bottom, almost criss cross them. This way it won’t be shift and will stay secure. At the end of the day you can place wherever your heart desires. The only thing you want to make sure is that it’s secure! Why have to worry about that though? Let us, your planner, handle that detail 😊
