al occasions or attending business retreats, conferences, and meetings with catering. This tiered, three-level building has celebration space for as many as 200+ seated guests. There are multiple spaces for outdoor viewing, including outdoor decks, railed walkways, and a 400 square foot glassed in porch with sliding windows, perched over the mountainside. Bars and restrooms are located on all three levels. Each level may be reserved separately, with pricing also available for use of multiple levels or the entire facility.

"I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center in the Elevation room. The space was perfect for a live band, 2 photographers, and 50ish guests. The view is very hard to beat. Getting married on top of a mountain with a view of the valley was special and everyone loved it. The food was delicious and the bar was accommodating. If I had to go back in time and redo it all, I would do it exactly the same. They captured my vision and made my dreams come true. This spot really made my wedding day!"

Above the Valley Event Center is now named Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center! Still owned and operated by Chef Harrison Schailey and Kit Henshaw, the team has moved all of the Harrison’s businesses under one roof and renamed the building Mt. Nittany Overlook. The event and meeting venue continues to operate on the main level, Elevation Room and lower level The Hillside Room. Their new restaurant, The Overlook Grill occupies the top level and the business office for Harrison’s Eat Well Catering is also located within the building.
