I'm crazy excited that you took the time to stop by and learn about me! It's been my honor to cover weddings, family sessions,
and seniors for almost 10 years, with endless locations across Missouri and Illinois. When I am not behind the lens, I am very much a real person. I'll just let you read the below for yourself ;)
A bit about me... After a decade of my city living, my dad passed, and I move

d back home to the country to help out. I had no idea the love and laughter that awaited me. While I still love the city, coming home again to Midwest sunsets, firefly evenings, and dewy mornings has restored my soul and deepened my love for capturing your favorite moments. When I am not covering your big day, I am full time mom to two amazing girls (Ana 10, and Alex 24) and also parenting backwards my sweet and feisty momma. The absolute love of my life is
a farmer and a fireman, and all together we love our hometown and community. We have a farmhouse we are restoring that's full of as many shenanigans as anything on HGTV, a crazy hound
dog (Jake), and two very troublesome ducks (Willie and Millie). Let's just say life is never dull. You will find myself and the three other amazing photographers here at Amanda & Co. Photo are in the business of storytelling. Our sessions are not out to take a picture, they are capturing the moments
that make your story unique. At weddings you will always have two photographers, this way we never miss a moment. We are there to help plan, answer questions, keep your wedding party laughing, and your day on track. More often
than not at the end of the day you will find me at a table chatting with your grandparents (one of my favorite things), and listening to tales of how their story began, because your family is our family. Dear Friends,

After much reflection and careful consideration, I have made the bittersweet decision to temporarily pause my photography business.

Mom, aka Linda, aka Grandma Linda is now level 84, and her health issues have become so significant that I spend most of my time at the hospital or being care taker. Currently this time around she is on day 11 of hospitalization and we don’t know what each day will bring. The past year has been challenging. For those that don’t know her, she is kind, she feisty, when you get her laughing she laughs until she cries, and whether you want it or not she has probably been praying for you.

My parents made the accidental decision to have me 20 years after my siblings. However, I have been blessed with the best parents anyone could ever ask for. Through all my sickness and surgery as a child they were always my advocates, biggest fans, and never left a hospital. Life shifted as it does, and now our roles are reversed with each other. Mother and Daughter, Daughter and Mother, and I am her advocate trying to make her late years the best that I can.

While I can’t commit to any new photography projects at this time, I do hope to return to photography once life settle down a bit.
I will not be booking weddings until further announcement. Weddings that are already booked, senior seasonal sessions, album orders, and galleries will still be fulfilled, so don’t worry, this is just simply to note that I cannot commit to any new contracts at this time. This decision was not made lightly, but in truth Mom needs me right now, and I must prioritize her well-being.

In the meantime, I appreciate your understanding, prayers for Mom, and patience as I focus on my family. If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out, and I will do my best to assist. I am deeply grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me to capture your most precious moments over the years.

Thank you again for your support and kindness during this time. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of your lives through the years. I look forward to reconnecting with you all in the future.

On a small island 10 miles from the nearest road in a wind-protected bay of Lake of the Woods Ontario you will find the most unique corner of the entire world, Obabikon Bay. There are not enough words to accurately describe how peaceful or how perfect it is here.

Fishing is always plentiful, followed by shore lunches and evening meals together. Sometimes the fish tales are big, but more often than not the fish are even bigger. Regardless there is always room on the Liar’s Bench for stories from the day.

Obabikon is so many things to so many people with countless memories that span decades. What makes this place so special? It could be those big Muskie, the amazing meals by Chef Rick, spectacular sunsets, my personal favorite Henley the dog, countless adventures, or star filled nights where the wind is so still you can only hear a faint wolf howl in the distance. It could be all of those things, and it is, but even more than that it’s the most incredible family you could ever have the pleasure of meeting or calling a friend that is holding it all together.

The most beautiful fall day that this autumn had to offer just happened to be that of Tim and Olivia’s wedding day. Quite possibly the most beautiful, warm, November day ever!

With leaves falling perfectly in to place as Olivia walked down the aisle, bride and day alike were absolutely elegant and timeless.

The evening hours gave way to an epic celebration of family and friends with a party for the ages. I’m quite certain every single person in attendance was on the dance floor to celebrate. Tim and Olivia it is clear to see, you are so loved!

Congratulations to you both and your amazing families, I wish you this much happiness always!

A beautiful little historic town alongside the Mississippi River, Alton, IL always provides the perfect backdrop for a fall wedding. Atop a hillside over looking the streets and river below sits St. Mary’s Church, one of the Crown Jewels of Alton. As soon as I walked in I knew how spectacular this day would be.

Walking from behind the wall of glass windows to the front of the church to meet her groom, Elizabeth was absolutely stunning and timeless. These two were so happy to see each other, it was such a beautiful sight to witness.

After an epic ceremony they made a few stops by their favorite places for some fun, and then rounded out the afternoon at Pierre Marquette. They love to go on walks here, and this day in particular was perfect with the leaves falling down around them. The day ended with the best celebration at Pierre Marquette lodge surrounded by family and friends who could wait to talk to the newlyweds. They are so loved!

Congratulations to you both, I wish you this much love and laughter always!
