When Oisin arrived in Centralia a month ago today, I asked him about the different types of music that have inspired him over the years. When I asked about country music, Dolly Parton was the only name he said. "Dolly's music is proper county music, if you ask me" was his reply. He also said that's the opinion of most Europeans when you talk about country music. During today's performance he will pay tribute to this country music icon and American legend. We hope to see you there.

Power boat racing returns to Raccoon Lake! 🚤

The 2026 NBRA/US Title Series Outboard Power Boat Races are coming to Centralia Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16. This marks the 22nd year of racing on Raccoon Lake!

Here’s when spectators can catch the action:

🏁 Friday, August 14
Testing from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

🏁 Saturday, August 15
Testing from 11:00 a.m.–noon
Racing from 12:30–5:30 p.m.

🏁 Sunday, August 16
Racing begins at 12:30 p.m.
