Get to know your 2025 Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo Court!
Makaila Tolman is the 18-year-old daughter of Dan and Melanie Tolman, she has lived on her family ranch just outside of Myrtle Point for as long as she can remember. She has been an active member of 4H since 2017 and has participated at the Coos County Fair, with horse, beef, and dairy cattle projects. In FFA she has shown her swine project. Makaila has qualified and competed at the state fair with all of her projects. She has also gone to the 4H Spring classic state competition in horse bowl, hippology, and horse judging. She was a 2023 state champion senior horse judging and went to nationals, where she placed 3rd individually in halter classes and 5th overall team.
In 2023, she fell in love with the sport of rodeo when she had the opportunity to represent the Coos County Fair and Rodeo as Princess. Makaila joined FFA in the fall of 2023 where she fell in love with the association. She is the current Myrtle Point FFA Chapter President. Makaila has been playing basketball for Myrtle Point since the 3rd grade. She also Competes on the Myrtle Point High School Equestrian Team with her horses Mister, Reba, and Flare. At the OHSET Meets she competes in In-Hand Obstacle Relay, Team Versitilty, Team Sorting, Working Pairs, Four Man Drill Team, Working Rancher, Dressage, Hunt Seat Equatation, Pole Bending, and Individual Flags.
In her spare time, Makaila enjoys hunting riding horses hanging out with family and friends, going camping, competing with her animals, drawing, hunting, and going to rodeos. Makaila is very honored and excited to represent the Wild Rouge Pro Rodeo as the 2025 Princess!
