There’s something different about standing in a place with real history behind it.
These original photos of the Centerville Station Building were taken in 1948, and we were fortunate to receive them from the BP Archive. Seeing this building in its working days puts everything into perspective.
This place was built with purpose. Solid construction, thoughtful design, and meant to last. That kind of craftsmanship is rare today, and it is something we have been intentional about preserving every step of the way.
What you see now at The Pumphouse is not a re-creation. It is the same structure, the same bones, the same character, just brought back to life.
Now it will hold a different kind of purpose. Weddings, families, celebrations, and moments that matter.
If you have not already, take a few minutes to look through the history section on our website. It gives a deeper look into where this building started and why it means so much to keep its story going.
We are not just creating a venue. We are continuing something that was built to last.
Thank you to BP Archive for sharing these incredible images with us. We are proud to carry this forward.
