CenterPoint Academy announces auditions for Sweeney Todd: School Edition on Saturday, March 14, from 4:00-9:00pm. The show runs June 8-17, 2026.
Auditions are open to those Grades 7th - 12th and are open to all teens in the community who are interested in auditioning.
Ashley Weller will direct, Emily Henwood will Choreograph, Tara Wardle will Music Direct, Sydney Pirouznia will Stage Manage, and Ryker Thompson will Assistant Stage Manage.
All those auditioning must complete the online audition form. The form can be found in our bio.
All roles are open and all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Looking for a dedicated ensemble of actors with strong vocals.
Be prepared to provide any conflicts from April 6th through June 17, along with a digital copy of a headshot and resume. Callbacks are scheduled for Saturday March 21st for those invited.
Auditions will take place at the theatre located at 525 North, 400 West in Centerville. Enter the building on the west side through the basement entrance.

**Sweeney Todd: Teen Edition contains mature themes presented in a stylized, non-graphic manner. Subject matter includes dark humor, themes of revenge, references to violence and death, and implied cannibalism. While adapted for young performers, the story explores unsettling ideas that may not be suitable for everyone. Please review this content carefully and consider your comfort level before auditioning.
Participation fee of $275 for those cast.
