🌻Update from the flower patch🌻

Do you prefer to hear the good news or the bad news first? Let's start with the bad: the rain. May brought us so much rain and while our Christmas trees appreciated the rain, the sunflowers did not fare well, and most did not survive. We have replanted some, but the sunflower patch will be smaller than in previous years. Our expected bloom date for sunflowers is now the week of August 18th.

On a more positive note, the wildflower patch is coming along nicely. We are addressing w**d issues, but the new mulched paths are such an improvement. Zinnias are starting to bloom, and a small section is ready for photography. The cosmo rows will be ready within the next few weeks. As always, during your scheduled shoot you have access to the whole property including the old Ford truck and our new pond dock and canoe.
