“We CANE light the World”. We kicked off our challenge with a little candy cane party and the return of our elves today. Each day our elves will bring us ideas of ways to serve those around us. My kids couldn’t wait to see their elves and I can’t wait to watch my kids share the light of Christ this Christmas season.

What a magical party!! I’m such a big “Potter” geek that I had a blast with all the details and food for this party. Happily, muggles were welcome at this party so even I got to attend.

Homeschooling starts tomorrow! As terrified as I am, I am determined to celebrate this milestone and help my kids kick off another fun year. A year that will (hopefully) be full of learning, laughter, love and snuggles for the teacher. They are smart cookies and they can do hard things. And if they can do it, so can I!

Last pic, I promise. This cake had me stressing. Between trying to get the frosting colors just right and attempting my first rainbow swirl unicorn mane- it was a rocky start. But after frosting the cupcakes, I felt like I had it under control and then proceeded to turn a white canvas of a cake into a unicorn. (Words my 18 year old self would never have imagined writing) 😂. Swipe to slice.

How fun is this kitty cake? My sweet niece couldn’t wait to see her birthday cake and when I finally finished it she gave me a big hug and a huge smile. Totally made it worth the effort. I was able to cut the black details with my .inc and it made it so much easier.

These cute little alien pops or Martian-mallows (as my 10-year old called them- yes his name was more clever than mine.) were a big hit. Such an easy treat that was totally on theme.

My baby turned three over the weekend and I really can’t believe it. He’s currently obsessed with Buzz from “Toy Story” so his party theme was pretty obvious this year. It was really fun to style and he loved it. He even wore his “Buzz Lightyear” costume and I died over the cuteness.
