Time to introduce myself! I’m Alyssa and the owner of Kits & Giggles. I have lived in Eastern Iowa my entire life and am now raising my young daughter here. Now let me share why I started Kits & Giggles!

The first birthday party I can remember was when I turned 6. All the girls from my kindergarten class were invited to a tea party hosted by my grandma and mom; and they did not disappoint. There was a full tea set, finger sandwiches, and a decorated table. However, the best part was every little girl received a dress and a hat decorated with flowers and ribbon to tie under their chins. This party is something my friends and I still remember and bring up to this day.

From that time on, my grandma and mom have passed down their love of crafting and making moments special to me. As I grew up, I started planning, decorating and putting together activities for my younger sisters’ birthday parties. Even now, I still look for any opportunity to make an event special, whether it be a baby shower, decorating the office at work for holidays, family birthdays, or just because.

I cannot think of a better way to use this passion than to help others turn their events into an exciting and memorable experience.
