Our new twinkly wooden tipis and bar at sunset go really well with colorful lounges!! This vibe is the way..

If you’re thinking about something a little outside the traditional wedding setup and picture an outdoor wedding is for you - we’d love to chat!

Our whole thing is transparency in pricing and really all of it - no random add-ons to use this or that! We live on site with our kiddos, get to know our couples (because they are objectively amazing people) and have a good time doing it!

We are a couple months out from adding the stone house that sleeps 12 for onsite accommodations - so couples and their crew can stay the night before, decorate, and relax heading into the actual day. It’s going to be epic!!

Fine print: Couple must answer in the affirmative to the statement on our contact form….We believe in equal rights for all people. That love is love - and everyone should be free to live their lives and feel safe regardless of race, religion, background, orientation, gender identity and quite literally anything else. Basically we believe that no one should tell others how to live their lives. ☺️🫶

Mike and I spend a lot of our extra time on producing these core memories, can’t be too careful these days ❤️

I saw ask if they had written the perfect wedding song recently on their IG, and to that I say all the way from Texas …yes, yes you did.

Up there with January Wedding by the for a winter wedding ceremony song in my humble woodland wedding venue owner opinion. You can’t change my mind!!

2025…When a hail storm tore through our tipis in the beginning of the year when we had a bunch of spring weddings in the books it was instant INSTANT panic….

But in the words of my dad when I asked how we would keep EPW going without him days before he died, “you just have to keep going”

And so we did. Patching them up, powering through and deciding to make a HUGE change we had only midnight dreamed about when closing the canvas tents when the party had ended and we were past exhausted (with the baby monitors on just in case)

It was only because of our extremely gracious couples did we have the audacity to completely reimagine what wedding festival tipis could look like AFTER they had already booked us and loved our original canvas tents. 🥹

It was my main anxiety all summer that our fall couples would be disappointed with our new look - but after having all of them, the feedback was life giving and anxiety calming. They loved it AND guests loved it! More space, more flexibility, more opportunity for decor 😬

AND WE LOVE IT!!! Without the stress of canvas we can now be even more present for our couples on their day because the weather is going to weather, and now we can just keep partying 💕

Thankfully tour after tour we have kept hearing our favorite word, Whimsical!! Which is exactly the vibe we want guests and couples to have as the backdrop to their wedding festival - if it doesn’t feel like another world then what’s the point!?

From 2020 to 2025…the end of an era and beginning of the next.

6 years in the books…Thanks to all our couples, guests, family and friends who have followed along, cheered us on and given us the energy to “just keep going” even when it felt impossible

2026 we’re ready for ya 💜

xoxo Alex & Mike

Thank you to for taking photos of our new tipis ❤️

Sooo I guess Mike got the wrong hay? Leave it to the Hill Country deer to appreciate our local wedding bar craftsmanship. 🦌

Whimsical canoe bar? Check.
Native hay garnish? Apparently… delicious.

A full week since Kerr County went from only known by those who live here or had visited - to known across the nation for the saddest of reasons.

There are 6 towns in Kerr County - 4 of which are unincorporated (Hunt, Center Point, Camp Verde, and Mountain Home) meaning no municipal government or services (they are served by the County).

These four unincorporated towns have volunteer fire departments who serve them. Think about that - not paid, all volunteers and they jumped in immediately in the wee hours of July 4th to help where it hit first in Hunt and Ingram. Before being flooded themselves in the case of our town Center Point. And they keep working, serving as home base for CP searches in a flooded building.

Anyone who survived and lost everything says they were “lucky” because that’s the depth of what happened.

Driving along the river into Kerrville as part of our daily life this week - taking Theo to daycare or going to HEB, the first responders vehicles must outnumber regular ones 10 to 1.

Chainsaws thrown into pickup beds headed towards where it’s bad. Where they are still searching.

Everyone keeps saying it feels heavy and that’s the perfect way to describe it. And at the same time awe inspiring to watch the response.

To those who reached out to check on us those first few days and even now to make sure WE were okay, not the venue - even if couples had weddings coming up! Thank you

Since all these unincorporated towns will rely on the county for support - the Kerr Flood Relief Fund is a great way to spread the love. All the volunteers fire departments are on the list to receive funds.

If you want to lend your time - the website above has a volunteer signup sheet. www.kerrtogether.com

is also taking volunteers or donations directly. Searching for the family pets missing too 🫶🏻

As for EPW we have our eye on a fundraiser to rebuild the little park/playground that was wiped out, right on the river. It’s a small thing to rebuild in the grand scheme of things, but those small things are the whole point.

Share the links and keep sending the positive vibes 🫶🏻
