From Middle School Sweethearts to a Dream East Wind Wedding

As Long Island wedding videographers, we get to witness so many incredible love stories. But it’s not every day we get to film one that began back in middle school.

We were absolutely honored to capture the beautiful wedding of Marissa and Anthony at the stunning East Wind in Wading River. This was more than just a wedding day; it was the celebration of a couple who has truly grown up together, building a life filled with shared joys.

A Love Story Years in the Making
From their early days of finding new food spots to cozy nights in watching movies, Marissa and Anthony’s love blossomed over years. Anthony became a cherished part of Marissa's family long before the wedding, creating a bond that was a true joy for our team to witness and capture on film.

In recent years, their little family grew with the addition of their two dogs, Enzo and Ella. Much of their time is now spent going on long walks and cooking amazing meals together—the simple, beautiful moments that build the foundation of a marriage.

The East Wind in Wading River provided the breathtaking and elegant backdrop for the day their long history officially became a shared future. Vineyards at Aquebogue Wedding Film: Meg & Mackenzie's Modern Love Story

The day is finally here! We are so proud and excited to debut Meghan and Mackenzie's stunning storytelling wedding film. Their gorgeous October wedding at the Vineyards at Aquebogue was a perfect blend of joy, laughter, and deep, personal meaning.

Their amazing backstory is a tale of a Hartt School connection, a modern-day DM slide, and a bond built on true friendship. Today, we get to share the beautiful film that captures it all.

A Hartt School Connection & A Modern Reunion
Their story began in 2015 at The Hartt School, where Meghan was a freshman and Mackenzie was a senior. A friendship (and maybe a small crush!) formed, but life was moving in different directions. Mackenzie was off to NYC for a musical theater career, and they didn't talk for four years.

Fast forward to 2019. In a true modern-day rom-com twist, Meg "slid into my DMs." They went on their first date, and the rest is history.

Life, Love, and Maisy in Islip Terrace
Today, this wonderful couple resides in Islip Terrace, Long Island, with their "true pandemic baby," a Dachshund/Lab mix named Maisy. Their life together is a collection of happy moments:

Relaxing on Fire Island or in Provincetown

Taking Maisy on walks (all powered by daily Dunkin' runs!)

A Bond Forged in Joy and Strength
Meghan and Mackenzie love decorating their apartment for every holiday, but fall is their favorite—which is why their October wedding on the North Fork was so perfectly them. Their time is filled with laughter, whether playing cards with family, watching RuPaul's Drag Race, or tuning into football season.

But their connection runs deeper. Mackenzie shared with us:

"We've been through many hardships... and are no strangers to grief. We both believe it's made us all the better for it."

This shared strength has forged a bond they describe as "unlike anything I've ever experienced." They are, first and foremost, the best of friends.

They endured the challenges of a long-distance relationship while Kristen pursued dental school and John served in the U.S. Navy, proving their commitment through every obstacle. One simple kiss - Jen and Rich's Wedding Film @ Bellport Country Club, Bellport NY
Their love story began in Cortland when Rich stopped by Jen’s college apartment to grab the snowman socks he’d let her borrow—a simple errand that turned into an unforgettable moment. One laugh led to another, and before they knew it, they were inseparable. From diving for volleyballs on sun-soaked courts to spending lazy afternoons at the beach with their dog, Kona, life quickly became an adventure they couldn’t imagine without each other. Whether kayaking side by side, dancing to country music under the stars, or hosting backyard BBQs surrounded by friends and family, Rich and Jen built a love rooted in laughter, loyalty, and shared moments. You're everything we've prayed for- Elizabeth and Matthews Wedding Film @ Giorgios, Baiting Hollow NY

Elizabeth and Matthew’s love story began at Stony Brook Hospital, where mutual friends introduced them and something instantly clicked—they both knew this was the forever they had been waiting for. For Elizabeth, it was a second chance at love, and Matt quickly became everything she and her children, Alex and Ellie, had prayed for. His humor, love for basketball and video games, and willingness to simply be present made him the perfect fit for their family. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventures, and family-first moments—from renovating their home and traveling, to endless games of pickleball. The greatest blessing came in May 2024 when Matt helped deliver their son Elias, a moment that deepened their bond even further.
