You might be wondering….why has Lauren been MIA all summer….
I’d love to show you what has been filling my time!

1. Meat chickens. 2 batches of 15 birds each. Raised out on pasture in a tractor. Moving them every other day. Processing said chickens ourselves. YouTube educated. First timers. It was an experience, didn’t go terrible, might be crazy enough to do it again next year.
2. Keeping on that same topic of livestock, raising 5 Berkshire hogs in the woods. Smart animals that have escaped their living quarters 3 times now. Built electric fence parameter around 5ish acres. Moving them to a new paddock every week. Lots of belly rubs. Basically hog farmers, might do 50 next year(jk).
3. Some Saturdays I’m found at Creston farmers market at a booth selling flowers. Connected with some cool people. Close to selling out every time. Flowers make people smile.

Summer of taking chances and never ending learning!

Heat wave here we come. I have just a few peony bouquets on the stand this morning. They will only be out there until NOON today and then back in the fridge they go. So if you aren’t able to make it out to the stand before NOON, send me a message and we can coordinate pickup.

Heyo!

First, my friends, you killed it last weekend with all the Mother’s Day flower 🌺 purchases! Not 1 but 2 refrigerators full of tulips left my house. Wow, THANK YOU! I ❤️ what I do, growing flowers, and it was great encouragement to me to see your support last weekend. 👏 Pretty cool!

With that said, I need to clear out one more fridge of tulips to make way for…..PEONIES! **SALE 🚨** So this weekend is BUY 2, GET 1 FREE for both WRAPPED and JARS! I’ll let you know if I sell out.
