Irish District Irish District Music and Arts Festival

Irish District Music and Arts Festival is an annual outdoor, family-friendly festival on the grounds of the historic Shores Central Park building in Cedar Rapids' Irish District. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we dedicate all proceeds of our event in June to support local music and arts education programs. The Irish District Music & Arts Festival is part of the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival.

Hi everyone. I wanted to post this update on the state of the Irish District Music and Arts Fest. Because of two major construction projects we have reluctantly decided to postpone the Fest for one year until 2019. Our venue is situated on 16th St NE and the street is going to be under construction for the better part of the summer. Along with that the Shores Building itself is getting ready to start its own major renovation of space that until this point has been a cabinet shop and general storage. We start that work in April and expect to be ready for new tenants late summer. If you are at all interested or know someone who likes the type of commercial loft space we offer please send me a note at 319-521-3113.
Thank you all for the wonderful support over the last 8 years and please continue your support of this great neighborhood and the artists that work from here. We will have periodic updates so come back to see us.
