Why are the Eagles the only NFL logo facing left?

which is interesting because in heraldry, right-facing logos symbolized cowardice. when you held your shield in your left hand, the (viewers) left side would be the one facing forwards, charging into battle alongside the wielder, and that custom continues into the present with flags displayed on the sides of soldiers and vehicles always shown with their hoist (the side on the flagpole) pointing towards the front of the person/vehicle so it flies alongside the charge.

the NFL clearly understands this concept, all the helmets with logos on them will have the logos flipped so each side is facing forwards, but the logos themselves (except the eagles) are shown coward when they’re displayed flat History

Just Like they BEAT The Dallas Cowboys last week! The Denver Broncos defeated the Houston Texans 18–15 in a Week 9 regular season game on November 2, 2025. Of Course Houston put up a !!! Performed Well
Wil Lutz: Kicked the game-winning 34-yard field goal as time expired, sealing the victory.
Bo Nix: Despite an up-and-down game overall (18 of 37 for 173 yards and an interception), the rookie quarterback led three scoring drives in the fourth quarter, including a 25-yard scramble on the final drive to set up the winning field goal. He also threw two touchdown passes and converted a key two-point conversion.
RJ Harvey: Scored a 27-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter and a two-point conversion catch to tie the game at 15-15. He became the first rookie in franchise history with a touchdown catch in three straight games.
Courtland Sutton: Caught a 30-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter which gave the Broncos a brief lead.
Broncos Defense: Held strong, particularly after Texans QB C.J. Stroud left with a concussion, limiting Houston to field goals and allowing no points in the fourth quarter. They forced a crucial three-and-out late in the game to give the offense a chance at the winning drive.
Jonathon Cooper & Zach Allen: Both defensive linemen recorded sacks on third downs that forced Houston into settling for field goals instead of touchdowns.
Did Not Perform Well
Michael Bandy: Filling in for the injured Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion), he muffed a punt return late in the second quarter, which led to a Texans field goal just before halftime.
Broncos Special Teams/Offense (Early Game): The unit was noted as being "up and down" throughout the game, with a field goal blocked in the first quarter and the aforementioned muffed punt, which kept Houston in the lead for much of the game.
Bo Nix (Early Game): Threw a second-quarter interception that gave the Texans a prime scoring opportunity, which also resulted in a Houston field goal.
