Last night was a pretty cool moment in Ultimate Entertainment (and my) history.

I started UE when I moved to Iowa in 1991. Prior to that, I had been DJing mostly bars in college and then massive night clubs back in the cities.

Along with that I did weddings.

When I started UE back in the 1900’s, it was strictly a karaoke company. I didn’t have any “wedding DJ” equipment or even a music library yet.

A couple that were regulars at a bar that no longer exists asked me to do their wedding. Of course I said yes and then had to drive back to my old boss and rent DJ equipment and music!

Last night, 35 years later, I had the honor of DJing their son’s wedding.

35 years later they told their son and his fiancé, see if Sean from Ultimate Entertainment is still around…..

It may sound corny to you, but to me that shows how strongly UE impacts a couples life from day one.

We’ve been truly blessed over all these years!
