Week 2 has come and gone, and we had another great night of racing! Dael dominated the evening by showing incredible consistency and pace. Garret came home second with a solid drive, and also increased his point lead in the process. Ty recovered from early wreck to finish third on the night.

Our Ferrari Challenge Series kicked off with a bang last week around the Paul Ricard Circuit. Garret employed a terrific defensive strategy to keep Ty at bay, on his way to securing the win. Ty was able to come across the line right behind in second, with Levi able to recover from an early spin and finish third!

ATTENTION: our next Championship Series starts next Tuesday night, August 11th!

This season, we’re all in the same car, the Ferrari 296 GT3! The season starts around the Paul Ricard Circuit, with the last place finisher of each weeks race choosing where we go next from our pool of pre-selected tracks.

We are also introducing a ‘success ballast’ dynamic. Starting in week two, the top three drivers in the point standings will have 20 kg, 10 kg, and 5 kg, respectively, added to their cars for that week’s race. This should provide, closer, more intense races as the season progresses.

Be sure to join us at 6 pm each Tuesday night for practice, and take part in the races as they will start around 7 pm!

It was a successful weekend of racing at Grid Lounge in iRacing Special Events!

Ty took home the checkered flag in the Brickyard 400 with a dominating performance which saw him start first, lead the most laps, and win!

Next up, we had Ty, Garret, and Cody team up in the Cadillac GTP for the 6 Hours of Road America. After leading the most laps, an on-track incident de-railed a potential victory, but they were still able to regroup and finish third!

Finally, we had Josh, Dan, and Levi take on the 6 Hours of Road America in the Mustang GT3! After a technical issue on the pace lap, which saw them fall to last place, they spent the next six hours clawing back to tenth place in class!
