Couldn't decide what to work on so I did all of it. Embroidery on some dice bags, a jelly roll rug on the iron, and a new costume being prepped for fabric cutting!

Adorable embroidered D20 dragon dice bags are being assembled! Keep a sharp eye out on the Etsy store. These are also stash busters from fabric given to me from my grandmother's hoard. These come embroidered in 8 colors, still working on color sets beyond the blue you see here. There will also be mermaids, pirate ships, turtles, and whatever else I find to put on these bags!

Autumn leaves stained glass tapestry work in progress. There is a surprising amount of and sewing required to finish these. This is my grandmother's last finished tapestry. When it's done I will post it to the Etsy store.

Reminder to organize your space. Filing cabinets work well for paper patterns, but I have a lot. My old cabinets were packed and wobbly. I bought myself a ditto, so no more paper patterns for me!

15 hours worth of work later and there is a nearly complete Faramir cosplay! Just need to make the pants and the hood of the cape and it's done! I cant even con crunch right this time! Where are the late nights? Where are the stress tears and frustrations? Where are the freakouts that I won't get this done? *Table flip*

Well, David wenham cancelled fanx, but Faramir will still make an appearance. So far, this costume had only taken me 12 hours to get this far. All that's left is to embroider the tree of Gondor, attach that to the stretch faux leather somehow, make a pair of pants, and find fabric for the hood of the cape. It's also not lost on me that this costume is entirely scraps, just like denethor would have done because this isn't boromir!
