What an incredible honor it was to be part of this year’s Douglas County Fair & Rodeo Farm-to-Table event! 🌾🍽️
We had the privilege of serving an unforgettable meal to our Douglas County Commissioners, local farmers, ranchers, and guests—celebrating the amazing bounty our community has to offer.
This menu was truly a love letter to Colorado agriculture, featuring ingredients from 15 different local purveyors, including:
🥩 Beef – Fitch Ranch
🥓 Sausage & Pork Belly – Hayden Fresh Farms
🥚 Farm Fresh Eggs Co.
🥬 Greens – Sandy's Way Microfarm -Sprister Family
🍞 Bread & Pastries – CastleDough
Plus locally grown potatoes, Pueblo chilies, onions, cheddar, Palisade peaches, honey, carrots, golden beets, and fresh cream sourced right here in our own backyard.
We’re beyond grateful to our incredible partners and to the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo for highlighting the importance of supporting local agriculture. There’s nothing better than cooking for the very people who grow the food we’re proud to serve. ❤️
