It’s been a tough summer and it’s only July! From very dry, hot, and bug filled days to torrential rainfall every evening, Mother Nature is sure testing us this year.

The dahlias may be a little behind, but they’re back on track now🤌🏻 We’ll be loaded with them soon as more and more buds are beginning to show.

As the temperatures began to rise this year we noticed a dahlia started to pop up through our gravel driveway. There have been many times my husband and myself wanted to pull it, but withheld against it because we wanted to see its bloom so badly…

Well here it is! It’s so cute and I’m so happy we didn’t follow our urges to pull it. I love it!
