It was quite a challenge!
Hi fans! As post is coming around the bend, here are some of the amazing facts that were given out at the wrap party:
- Morrow Road's Script is 125 pages, so the film should end up being just over 2 hours
- There are 52 sequences made up of 157 scenes! All have been filmed except an optional intro credits sequence and some non-actor shots (composite scenery) which Francis has started filming.
- 44 days + 8 days of inserts = a total of 52 twelve-hour days.
- As DP, Francis designed just over 2,000 shots that comprise the film. Most he did on a weekly basis, taking him roughly 120 hours.
- The # of takes the cast & crew took to get those 2,000 shots were a whopping 3,765. That’s an average of 1.89 takes per shot. 85 were drone. The film had a B Cam for about 4 of the shooting days.
- Hope, running BTS, has collected 4,752 video recordings of the making of the film!
- Stefan Petrimichl submitted 3,086 still pictures, including this one from Day 44!
- Not counting the producers, the top five man hours were:
1) Dawn Carter: 624 hrs
2) Ruth Dunlap: 583 hrs
3) Mark Duckworth: 539 hrs
4) Jen Strickland: 515 hrs
5) Hunter Carter: 474.5 hrs
Note - These do not count hours people put in when not on set.
- Francis started this film Dec 21, 2004. His two-hour speech summed up the first 20 years of the film's attempts in its first half. The second half gave out the previous post's awards.
- Post-Production will take at least one year and Francis is prepping for it now.
