🌿 Kamika Ekadashi – July 21, 2025

(Ekadashi Tithi: July 20, 2:42 AM – July 21, 12:08 AM)

Also known as Pavitra Ekadashi, this sacred observance falls during the Krishna Paksha of the Shravan month—within the highly auspicious Chaturmas period. It is a powerful day for spiritual cleansing, deep devotion, and seeking divine grace.

📜 The Story Behind Kamika Ekadashi:
When Yudhishthira asked Lord Shri Krishna about the significance of this Ekadashi, Krishna recounted a conversation between Lord Brahma and Sage Narada. In this divine dialogue, Brahma Deva emphasized the immense spiritual merit of Kamika Ekadashi:

🌊 Observing this vratham is equivalent to taking a holy dip in the sacred Ganga
🔥 It carries the fruit of performing an Ashwamedha Yajna
🌺 Offering Tulasi leaves to Lord Vishnu on this day grants one peace, happiness, and spiritual upliftment
🕊️ It is said to purify the soul and absolve all sins and doshas

💠 Why It’s Called Pavitra Ekadashi:
This Ekadashi is not just about fasting—it’s about inner purification. It purges negative karmas and bestows clarity, devotion, and divine blessings. The vratham, when done with sincerity and faith, draws one closer to liberation (moksha).

🌸 What to Do on Kamika Ekadashi:
• Observe a day-long fast (as per your capacity)
• Offer prayers to Lord Vishnu, especially with Tulasi leaves
• Chant Vishnu Sahasranama, Vishnu Ashtottara or “Om Namo Narayanaya”
• Engage in charity and refrain from negative speech or thoughts

Let this Pavitra Ekadashi be a day of light, surrender, and transformation. May Lord Vishnu’s grace purify your mind and heart. 🙏✨

Jai Shri Hari!
Om Sriman Narayanaya! 🙏🚩

Ever wondered why we celebrate Guru Purnima? 🌕😊🙏

Today, we explore the deep-rooted significance of this sacred day and its timeless traditions.

Known also as Vyasa Purnima, this day marks the birth of Sage Vyasa, the revered author of the Mahabharata and compiler of the Vedas and Puranas. His work made ancient wisdom accessible to humanity.

Sage Vyasa’s contributions are monumental—shaping the very foundations of Hindu philosophy and spirituality. His legacy continues to guide us through life’s complexities.

On this day, we bow in gratitude to all our gurus—the luminous beings who dispel darkness with their wisdom and inspire us to grow, evolve, and awaken.

In the Guru-Shishya Parampara, the bond between teacher and student is sacred. It is through the guru’s grace that we progress on the path of truth, self-realization, and liberation.

As we honor our teachers and mentors, may we continue to seek knowledge, walk the path of dharma, and live a life filled with purpose and awareness.

Wishing you all a blessed and insightful Guru Purnima.
May the light of knowledge guide your journey always. 🙏✨
