The best thing I ever did for myself and my business was to make every arrangement I offer unique and custom made. I spent years at other florists copying arrangements from a picture that a customer had ordered online and it is soul sucking. Making everything I offer designer’s choice means:
1. You get the freshest and prettiest blooms. There is no scrounging around for old flowers just to replicate a picture.
2. You get an INSPIRED bouquet. I get to create and have fun and I think that comes through in my arrangements.
3. Your bouquet is always a one of a kind work of art which should make the receiver feel extra special.

I made this lady for fun the other day. It made me think back to when I was first learning flowers and would look up a Monet painting and try to create an arrangement inspired by the art. Or a scene I saw on TV. Or what my emotions were in that moment.
One of you (hi👋🏼) came in and bought her almost immediately, but I have more of these vases! And these flowers if anyone is interested 😏

Heaven is a bundle of poppies😍
I was packing up my trunk with flowers for last night’s class and two women walked by admiring the flowers. Lots of ooohs and ahhhs but then they pointed to the poppies “these ones are fake though right?”
I actually get this fairly often- but no!! 100% locally grown real life poppies. They do look too perfect to be real💛

Sometimes photographers just capture the big picture of florals which is necessary and amazing, but I’m a sucker for the zoomed in shots. It’s how I see my flowers as I work!!

Big News: I’M MOVING!!!🚛
This first year in business has been a wild ride and one of the best parts? Meeting and .company - two more experienced small business owners who have cheered me on, fielded my questions, and made sure I stayed sane.
This year has had its challenges, but I’ve never felt alone. The community I’ve met has been nothing but supportive and helpful.
Sooooo, we want to invite you into this community with us!
I’ve got lots of info in this post, but TLDR: the three of us are opening a new studio in downtown Apex. I’ll have more space, it will be artist centered, and we are looking for a few tenants to rent out space as well as makers looking to sell their products.

Wedding professionals. Prom parents. Kind friends- this is the video you need to bookmark: How to securely attach a boutonniere! 1. Place boutonniere in the middle of the lapel 2. Turn the lapel over. Insert pin from the back into the base of the flowers (usually the thickest part of the stem) then come back out on the underside. 3. Repeat at a criss cross diagonal. 4. These are the outer layer petals that most often get damaged during transport from the grower to the seller. Insert flowers from above maintaining a circular shape and balance 4.
