This business summed up in one simple reel😁

Give me all of the flowers, all the design work, and I’ll pass on the spreadsheets and cleaning😅

Just goes to show that people who make art for a living love what they do SO much they’re willing to deal with all the (essential) nonsense to get to the good stuff!

🌸 FLASH GIVEAWAY TIME 🌸

$150 fall arrangement + $100 gift card!!!

At the beginning of this year I did my first real giveaway (scroll to see the winner and her bounty!) and it made me SO happy I decided to do another.

This time I’ve recruited my literal shop neighbor Rose & Lee Co | Ethical Boutique. I’ve bought clothes from them for a photoshoot, after stressful days, when I wanted to look cute for date night and also when I needed to continue my MO of dressing like a toddler. They have range, babies.

How to enter:
1. Follow Golden Flora ✿ Raleigh Florist AND Rose & Lee Co | Ethical Boutique
2. Like this post + tag local flower loving, retail therapy needing friends. Every tag is an entry
3. Share to your story and tag me for 3 entries! (DM a screenshot if your account is private)

Because I made this arrangement 20 minutes ago and want you to enjoy it for as long as possible, the winner will be announced tomorrow!! Winner must be able to pick up the goodies at The Studio this weekend in downtown Apex.

Happy fall!!

Pinterest called and wants its party back!!!🤪🦕🦖

Had so much fun making these pieces for Raleigh Children’s Event Design & Party Planner. It’s not often I get to work with giant leaves and I loved it.

Happy birthday, W!

If your lobby, clubhouse, waiting room, restaurant or front desk are feeling a little sterile or basic, try adding flowers😁

I know I’m biased, but flowers add warmth, elevation, color, and LIFE to your business space. It makes visitors feel more welcome, at ease, and happier. I can only imagine that happier customers benefit your business! Think:

🌿 weekly lobby flowers
🌸 grand opening arrangements
🪻 apartment clubhouse flowers
🌷 hotel and hospitality spaces
🍊 flowers for events, launches & special occasions
🌼 recurring arrangements for your office or storefront

I didn’t know how much I would love doing this until I started. I find a lot of joy in creating seasonal arrangements that are custom made to fit the color, style, and energy of a space (or that you’re trying to create!)

If you have a business or property that could use a little more life (literally), send me an email. I’d love to make something beautiful for you🌸

As long as it’s not the day before Mother’s Day or a huge wedding week for me, I’ve got you😘

Boutonnières: $25
Corsages: $50
Bouquets: $80+

You can even order them on my website under “prom/homecoming”

Produce 🤝 Flowers

I feel lucky to have learned floral design in California where we were putting persimmons, grapes and apples in arrangements since the day I started.

I’m also grateful so many BRIDES have entrusted me to include produce in their wedding day designs. It opens up a whole new world of textures, features, and fun🤩

This is one trend I hope never dies!!

🎃It’s almost succulent pumpkin time!

Two things just happened:
1. A customer asked if I was making these again (YES)
2. Lauren Hooper 🎨 Quirky Polymer Clay Earrings just threw her pumpkin away from LAST YEAR🤣

When I tell you these babies last a long time, I mean it! The succulents can also be plucked off and planted once you’re done with your pumpkin. They make the best little hostess gifts or treat for your own coffee table.

These are a labor of love and so I am trying something a little different this year and taking pre-orders. These will be available for pick up only starting September 23.

From then on, I’ll try to make some weekly to be available at The Studio but there are no guarantees.

Pre orders can be placed via the link in my bio or on my website under “just because” flowers.

Meet Golden Flora, new and improved💃

When I opened this business 3.5 years ago, I didn’t do any branding. I didn’t know what I wanted or how my business would evolve and take shape. I wanted to wait until the dust settled a bit and I had a clearer vision of what this business was… and that happened this summer!

Nouveau Creative | Brand Design & Murals asked me a million questions about Golden Flora and me! Because this business is truly an extension of me. I used words like genuine, warm, passionate and whimsical.

I knew a lot of what I didn’t want- a fine line drawing of a flower and very elegant font😬 That just isn’t me! (Zero shade to every florist that IS that!)

So we went back and forth until we landed on this clematis I took a photo of last year and absolute loved. She also included a RUNNING foxglove, because what is more whimsical than that?🥹

So stay tuned as I slowly transfer everything into this new color palette and branding. Can’t wait!
