Y’all!! Let’s take minute to talk about this work of art by Sharon of I don’t believe I have ever seen a more beautiful wedding cake in my entire life. I’ve never added flowers to the base of a cake before so that was fun for me. I had a great apprentice in who jumped in and helped me get it all done!

So I just learned this morning that this Frankensteinisk contraption will be my friend for at least 6 weeks. Hopefully I will have surgery to repair my ankle sometime this week. Thank you for praying for me and please remember my sweet friend Amanda who is recovering from surgery to repair spinal fracture. We a truly thankful to even be alive and I know that God has a reason for our going thru this. I heard a message this week at camp that truly had me questioning why we work so hard to earn things that will pass away. I seriously felt God talking to me during that service and maybe He knew the only way to make me really listen to His urging was to “pull the rug” out from under me and put me in a place where I have no choice but to listen. I hope He’s trying to teach Amanda something too or that will add to the horrible guilt I feel as the driver that she is suffering because of me. So pray for our physical condition but please also pray for God to give clear direction for our futures!
