Well! I’m really not sure where to begin. First, I want to thank everyone for praying, calling, visiting, offering meals and sending cards for encouragement! You will never know how much it is appreciated and helpful for a healthy recovery. Knowing people care and are praying for you is healing in itself.

I want to thank David and Rebecca Rogers, my Pastor David Baze, Randee RJ Kubish-Parker and all of the others who jumped, with no notice, to ensure I had a wheelchair ramp in place so I could get into my house upon discharge! I also have to thank the best son-in-law in the world, who is always here to help me. I live in a mobile home, so none of my doorways were wheelchair accessible. He and Brandon, his boss worked tirelessly to expand my door ways, paint and hung new doors. And then there’s my girls! Heather George Allen and Allison Charles! I am so blessed! They have really been here for me. Allison has been my Mini Me, taking care of me, our customers and learning how to make Chicken & Dumplings via FaceTime! Can you believe that?!! Now she’s a pro!

I have felt for some time the Lord was telling me I needed to slow down. I don’t like change and “slow down “ is/was not in my vocabulary. I’m not blaming the Lord for my fall and fractured hip, but I do believe He allows things to happen for His will for your life to be accomplished and sometimes for others around you.

So Lord, I’m still! I’m listening! I’m so thankful for all of my many blessings! I love all of you so very much! I can’t wait to get back to church. I miss everyone! I’m hoping to see y’all Sunday!
