Okay but HOW is this the THIRD baby I’ve photographed for this family!?!

Watching families grow (and somehow watching myself not age at all? wild) is the kind of joy that never gets old. Thank you for inviting me back into your lives again and again—I’m forever honored to be your go-to baby tamer.

Thank you SO much to everyone who submitted your baby for my model call!

If your little one wasn’t selected this time, please don’t take it personally — I promise it’s not you, it’s me (well, it’s actually the project needs, but you get it). Age, availability, a particular size for a prop… all those picky little details come into play.

So if you didn’t hear from me this round, just know your baby is still top-tier adorable. I’m just over here playing casting director with a very specific script.

Keep an eye out — more opportunities always pop up, and I’d love to work with you in the future!

I'm looking for a girl newborn model!

Please read:
Session will take place Tuesday (6/24) at my studio in Rome. Start time will be 10am.
Baby must be less than a month old for this. Please send me a photo of your baby without a hat on, their date of birth, weight and length to [email protected]
The session is free but you must be ok with a model release, social media and website sharing. Baby only. You'll receive 3 digital images for your time with the option to purchase additional images.
I'm needing to photograph some specific things, but I'll try to work in a request if possible!

Would you believe me if I said that it was a torrential downpour until we got about a mile from our location.
Not gonna lie, I was pretty stressed about it bc we had already changed the date once, rented a dress (the blue one😍) and Momma had hair and makeup done.
All day the weather was changing from rain to no rain, then to rain again. When we were about to leave it was 47% chance of thunderstorms.
SO glad we went with it because.... wowza! The session before ours was soaked as they were leaving 😬

10/10 recommend cooling off in the creek!

Gotta love summertime in Georgia! The weather has been changing all day long, up until about two hours ago there was no rain at 7 PM… Session is 45 minutes away from us and my client had hair and makeup scheduled at 2 today.

Will it be a rain out or will we be fine?

So a couple of you guessed something about the girl holding the baby (she's ONE by the way! And what a good girl she was!) She was into holding the baby herself, but was not into being in a photo with her sisters, no matter what we tried so we improvised ;)
On insta I did a poll and currently it's 48% top photo and 52% bottom. The top photo from the previous post was 100% as it was shot (well I did remove a tiny bit of hair from someone's face) But, everyone was looking, everyone was smiling! It's pretty rare to have that with such a large group and with so many young children. (The two littlest had JUST turned 3 and 1)

It's painstaking and can take hours to make something like this happen but I'm grateful to have Photoshop as a tool in situations like this one.

I have a secret.
One of these photos is EXACTLY as it was taken (a miracle!!) and one is not.

Working with tiny humans and toddlers requires a little out of the box thinking sometimes.... and often, some photoshop magic

Which photo do you think is photoshopped and what do you think was added or taken away?

Newborn sessions often take 2-4 hours bc the baby is the boss and we go at their pace. These little ladies were INCREDIBLY well behaved and cooperative for this session!
