It's been a minute since posting! We're in the midst of the fall wedding season... in September, we catered at the very lovely new-to-us Malden Hill Venue in Aylett. A gorgeous day at this beautiful barn venue.
On the menu:
Hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour: Sweet Potato Country Ham Biscuits, Shrimp Spread, Charcuterie and Cheeses with fruit and pickled veggies
Buffet Dinner:
Cider braised Chicken Breast
Basmati and Quinoa Pilaf
Crab Mac and Cheese
Roasted Root Vegetables
Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic
Tomato, Watermelon & Feta Salad

Beautiful Spring day for a wedding on Saturday at Rassawek. Didn't get photos of all the food, but here's a sampling.
On the menu:
Hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour: Charcuterie, Cheeses, Fruit, and sliced housemade baguette, Crab Crostinis, Housemade sliced sausage with grainy mustard, Crudites with Parmesan Dip
Buffet Dinner: Roast Beef carving station, Mediterranean Chicken with Tsatsiki, Roasted Asparagus, Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes with toppings, Bean Salad, grilled Portabella Mushrooms for vegetarians/vegans, freshly baked Rosemary Foccacia.
For this 4/20 wedding, they skipped the wedding cake and instead served "pot" brownies, lemon bars and almond cookies.
Congratulations and cheers to Alex & Pat! We were delighted and honored to be part of their special day 🥂

What a beautiful day to be a part of a small Wedding Expo at a favorite venue of ours, The Venue At Orchard View Farm in Cumberland. Andy made some Sweet Potato Biscuits with Country Ham, Pea & Bacon Salad, Rhubarb Brown Sugar Bars, and Lemon Hibiscus Iced Tea.

Grilled Pound Cake with Lemon Curd and Fresh Berries, Cranberry Cheesecake
