I’m still pretty salty that the folks who took over my original Facebook account deleted my wedding page too. I had tons of reviews there and photos shared over the years from couples I married. It’s nothing I can recreate, so I guess I need to get moving on rebuilding!
What you need to know: I’ve been doing weddings a long time. Over 300 weddings all across Iowa and some in Nebraska. So, with experience comes expertise but also comfort. I will make sure, 100%, that your ceremony is exactly what you want. I’ll work with you to write the ceremony, we can rehearse if you want to, and I’ll coach you through on the day of your wedding. I’m not a wedding planner but I’ve been to enough weddings to help you with how to line up or where to stand. I also already know all the trends like moving before the big kiss or standing with my back to the crowd so your photos are of you and not me (I mean I’m awesome, but I don’t need to hang on your living room wall, ya know?). I bless the paper I use to write your ceremony, and then you get to keep It (I believe In good energy!). Hmmm, what else?
Oh! I have lots of sample ceremonies you can read through and a ton of other ideas stored up in my brain (they are in the song lyric section so no worries about being forgotten). Did I mention I’m awesome? I am. Because of that I usually book out fairly far, but, I love a good spur of the moment let’s-get-married-tomorrow couple so I try to make everything work. I’m affordable, fun, high energy, outgoing, and a skilled orator (that’s a fancy word for public speaker).
My other job is a professor of health education and promotion for an online university. I hold a PhD so if you really want to get married by a “Dr.” I’m your gal.
That’s probably everything you need to know for starters. I can give you references if you would like. I do (and have done) all sorts of ceremonies and themes so I am very flexible and open to almost anything. Im sharing some pics because I have tattoos and sometimes fun hair; I’ll cover up If requested (there’s that flexibility!).
