The ArtsCenter is proud to showcase incredible shirt designs by talented students from UNC and Duke, opening this Saturday, December 6th from 6-8pm. These limited edition t-shirts, printed by Treehouse Creations, will be available for purchase online. 🎨👕

We can all use a little more light these days, right? ✨

From December 12-January 19 we are thrilled to present "A Light in the Dark" in our Main Gallery. The show features various artists' interpretations of the themes of light, hope, and perspective in a range of mediums and styles. We hope you will join us for the Second Friday gallery opening on Friday, December 12 from 6-8:30pm to meet some of these incredible artists and celebrate their work!

Big thanks to our jurors Chieko Murasugi and Chris Musina, who had the difficult job of choosing from 168 submissions to our call for art, and thank you to everyone to submitted to the show!

Take a sneak peek at Calvin Brett's incredible exhibition, KA: The Illusion of Being!

Join us for the reception is this Friday, November 14th from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. You won't want to miss seeing these gorgeous and powerful sculptures in person!

Through sculpture, painting, and video, KA: The Illusion of Being explores the tension of self, spirit, and perception. The exhibition traces a process of ego dissolution and social self-reflection, drawing inspiration from W.E.B. Du Bois’s concept of double consciousness, the Buddhist idea of no self, and the ancient Egyptian concept of the KA.
