Carpenter Park

In town, head over historic Carpenter Park for nearly 20 acres of open space in the geographic center of the city. It’s literally in the middle everything and hosts activities ranging from public ceremonies to pick-up sports games to festivals like Burger Fest and El Grito. It’s also home to Concerts in the Park, Movies in the Park, and the Veterans Garden. Meanwhile over at Keith Andres Park, catch some serious air on its wild series of mountain bike jumps, managed in conjunction with CAMBR (Chicago Area Mountain Bikers).
