Choosing a venue is one of the first big decisions you’ll make, and one of the hardest to change later. Before you sign anything, ask these three questions.

Many venues book two or three weddings in one weekend. That can mean hurried setup and someone else’s teardown happening during your day, and the next couple waiting their turn. Ask how many events the venue holds each weekend and when you actually get the keys.

A low starting price can grow quickly once you add tables, chairs, linens, getting-ready spaces and setup. Ask for the full list of inclusions so you’re comparing venues fairly.
