Wondering when you should start wedding dress shopping? Giving yourself plenty of time means less stress, more options, and a much smoother experience from “yes” to your final fitting!

Here’s the timeline we recommend:

✨10–12 months before: The sweet spot! Say yes to your gown and place your order.

✨9 months before: Our latest recommended time to order your gown and still leave plenty of time for production, shipping, and alterations.

✨About 2.5 months before: Begin alterations with The Alterations Suite The Alterations Suite for the perfect fit.

✨Whenever possible, give yourself some wiggle room! A little extra time makes the entire process feel more relaxed and enjoyable.
