Who We Are ✨
Three cousins — more like sisters — with a love for throwing a good party that quickly turned into a passion for helping others bring their dream events to life. After years of family and friends encouraging us to turn our knack for planning into something more, A Family Affair Event Planning was born. 🥂
From weddings in California and Florida to bridal showers, birthdays, wedding showers, corporate events, fundraisers, holidays, out-of-state bachelorette parties, and everything in between — we’ve built our company around creating meaningful, memorable experiences with a personal touch. 💫
Kristin “KK” — The Ringleader 🎉
Kristin works full-time at Merchants Bank of Indiana in mortgage servicing, but event planning is truly where her creativity shines. She’s constantly scrolling Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration, keeping up with the latest event trends, and bringing fresh ideas to every celebration. Her mind rarely shuts off — you’ll often find her working into the wee morning hours building timelines, coordinating vendors, and perfecting details. Kristin loves traveling ✈️, w**e 🍷, great food 🍽️, and spending time with family and friends.
Lauren — The Co-Pilot 💐
Lauren, Kristin’s sister, works full-time as an escrow officer at Near North Title. She’s the behind-the-scenes magic maker of the group. Full of creative ideas and a get-it-done attitude, Lauren thrives on the hands-on side of events and leaves most of the paperwork to Kristin. She loves the Oregon Ducks 🦆, spending time with her two dogs 🐾, working in her yard 🌿, spending time with her grown daughters, and making memories with family and friends.
Tricia — The Other Co-Pilot 🤍
Tricia, cousin to Kristin and Lauren, works full-time as an audiologist at Ascension St. Vincent. She’s the calm, dependable presence of the trio — happy to jump in wherever needed while leaving the nitty gritty details to her cousins. Tricia fiercely loves her family and spends much of her time cheering on her two children at their sporting events alongside her husband, Bob. She enjoys traveling ✈️, rooting for the Indiana Hoosiers ❤️, surrounding herself with loved ones, and ending the day with a good glass of red w**e 🍷.
At A Family Affair Event Planning, we love the planning process, the final reveal, and especially the hugs at the end of the night. 💕 Our goal is to take the stress, chaos, and endless to-do lists off your plate so you can actually enjoy your event, celebrate with your guests, and create memories that last long after the party ends.
