This weekend I had the greatest honor and the highlight of my time as a flower farmer when I got to set up this proposal spot for my son to propose to his girlfriend of 6 years. 💕💕

Yesterday at Local Flower Hour I mentioned I wanted to grow pumpkins on a 16' cattle panel arch but I didn't know how to get the cattle panel to the farm in my minivan😅

I have already started the pumpkin seeds and just needed a solution. Step up these two amazing people! Beth had a truck🛻 and T-posts and we got the brains and beast mode of one Natalie Spoerle. 💪🏼

In no time I have almost 20' of vertical growing space to plant miniature pumpkins for fall. And you know what? I couldn't have done it without this community of like minded flower farmers. We grow similar product. We have similar price points. Doesn't matter, this little community steps up for each other. After we finished mine we headed to and installed one there.

My only regret is not getting video of slamming T-posts into the ground like a hot knife through butter.

Prom season! Gosh these girls are so poised and put together. I love they know exactly what they want. I have more bouquets than I have spaces on the post… I had so much fun making them. 🥰

The final 500 tulips went in the ground today. The gardens put to bed, hoses stored away. Buckets washed, compost turned, annuals tipped out of planters. All the dahlias are stored away hibernating for next summer.

Grateful that the challenges of the 2024 season are over. Grateful for the mild fall that allowed me to complete all of the work never having to breakout a coat.

So thankful for my customers who have renewed their subscriptions. Every time I see an order come through it brings me so much joy. Thank you for supporting my small business.

I look forward brightening your days throughout 2025.

Another season showcased from the back of my minivan. 2024 was nothing if not unpredictable. More often than not I didn’t even remember to take a minivan photo! Flowers are already in the ground for 2025 slowly growing to burst forth with all the colors in spring.

The final few handfuls of flowers ending a very challenging year. I’m going to leave the lisanthius alone and see what happens but Celosia will get terminated tomorrow to make room for the 😅 10,000 tulips I need to plant next week.

2025 Subscriptions will be available to order on the website by Thanksgiving and amaryllis arrived today. Can’t wait to make all of your days brighter in 2025.

There is no glamour in flower farming. No make-up. No blow-outs. Dirty clothes. Dirty glasses. I’m lucky if I remember to apply some SPF.

Mother Nature is a fickle witch that’s trying to kill me. Next 3 days are near 80 and sunny. They are all going to bloom. Wish me luck 🍀
