For this fall wedding at Quail Meadows in Carmel, the couple wanted the day to feel bright and celebratory, so we designed aisle flowers in vivid pinks and oranges. They ended up being the perfect contrast to a gloomy day, bringing the energy the ceremony needed. Gray skies and even a little rain couldn’t touch the joy of the day.

For this summer wedding at The Barns at Cooper Molera, the bouquet felt natural, delicate, and gathered, with the same just-picked quality we carried through the rest of the flowers. We used locally sourced blooms from neighboring farms, which gave everything that soft, seasonal character and a palette that felt fresh rather than overly polished.

I love this kind of bouquet for a wedding like this. It feels personal, easy to carry, beautiful in portraits. And completely in step with the setting (and that incredible Oscar de la Renta gown).

When the flowers, the venue, and the overall mood all speak the same language, the whole day feels more elevated without trying too hard.

And this is why Carmel Valley Ranch is one of our favorite wedding venues on the Central Coast. Between the sweeping views, almost-always-perfect weather, expert staff, and many distinct spaces for each part of the celebration, it gives couples and planners so much to work with. For weddings that want to feel relaxed, elevated, and deeply connected to the landscape, it really is such a special place to gather.

Fall doesn’t have to lean dark to be seasonal. This "autumn sunset" palette is one of my favorites, it's just so romantic and refined. The warmth of apricot garden roses, soft clay dahlias, raspberry cosmos, dusty pink foxglove, bits of rust and texture tucked throughout - were all layered intentionally so the color feels rich without ever feeling heavy. Set against crisp ivory, it glows. ✨
