What are some of your weird obsessions??

Mine change with the wind but for the past few years I have been obsessed with all things composting worms. How to breed them, the different types. I am in some FB groups about it and am constantly reading and researching. 😂 🪱

Also I am obsessed with making marshmallows from scratch. But the people in my house don’t eat them as fast as I can make them. I am in a bunch of FB groups for this also. Next on my list is making marshmallows the old fashion way with real marshmallow root! 🔥

PARTY PLACE BUSINESS/NEWS

We are still trying to clear out the shop. Selling everything off as we go through and bundle it.

We are hoping to start having clear out sales starting next Friday. These will be ran similar to a garage sale out of our actual garage in the back of our shop. What is out is what we have available that day.

We will plan some weekend sales as well once I can get a schedule worked out!

Are you a book reader or listener? I am making it a point to pick up a physical book more this year than I did last!

Those audiobooks just make listening so easy! Just finished this guy up and returned him to the Library!

While nursing sick kids and taking care of some chores at home I have been doing a deep dive into deodorants.

After continuing my research for the rest of the week I hope to whip up some sample batches next week.

I am excited to try something new! Be on the look out!

Did you know we make both cleansing bars and soap? 🧼

What’s the difference you ask? Well they both cleanse but are made with different ingredients in different ways. Thus creating different products! 🤣

They have different uses as well. For instance, soap is usually best for washing hands and body and depending on your skin sometimes the face. 🧽

Cleansing bars are best suited for very sensitive skin and your bits and baubles down south. This is because when making a cleansing bar I have more control over the ph balance of the final product! 🧪

Who all has pulled out the telescope?

🌌 Viewers around the world will soon be able to witness the Grand Planetary Alignment of 2025! Here are all the details 👇🏻

Until now, six of the seven planets in the sky could be seen simultaneously. However, starting February 20, Mercury will join the spectacle in the west after sunset.

As twilight fades to darkness, look toward the southwestern horizon. There, you’ll spot Venus and Saturn appearing close together. Venus, the brighter of the two, will be unmissable.

Higher in the sky, you’ll find Jupiter, the second brightest speck of light in the night sky after Venus. Jupiter recently passed its opposition, making this one of the best times of the year to observe the gas giant with the naked eye.

Near the eastern horizon, Mars will shine brightly with its signature red hue, making it a captivating sight in the night sky. January and February are the best months of the year to observe the Red Planet, as it is around the closest to Earth after its opposition on January 15.

Uranus will be positioned near Jupiter, and Neptune will be close to Venus and Saturn. You will need optical aid to see both these ice giants, as their magnitude is beyond the naked eye limit.
